Let’s dive right in.
4 Amazing Selling Strategies That Works Like Magic
#Strategy 1: Know Your Onions
My boss, Prince of Copywriting, Emmanuel Akpe loves this cliche ” When you know your onions, you will eat your suya”.
Now, what does this mean?
When competence and value are at the front line of your selling, your customers will most likely be glued to you like electromagnetic force attracts its magnet. Your onions are your competence, your suya is the amount of sales you make.
Whatever you do, strive to be extraordinarily proficient. The quality of what you produce will determine if your customers will stay with you or not. No one gives quack a dime.
I can’t stress this point enough. It’s extremely important you go all out to know about the nitty- gritty of your products or service. Read books, attend seminars, practice as much as you can. Don’t be too desperate to get money when you know you are yet to be done.
#Strategy 2: Define Your USP
If I ask you what does Apple sell, what would your response be? You may likely say, they sell phones.
Well, you are right but your answer is not actually spot on. They are actually selling “expensive and quality smartphones”. That’s their USP.
USP is an acronym for Unique Selling Proposition. Most customers are not really interested in the products or service at first, they need a special thing that will make them stick to you.
Now, what does Domino Pizza sells?
They sell “speed”.They tell you “Get Your Pizza In 30 Minutes Or Get It For Free”Your Unique selling point will set the pace for your business to stand out among others. It’s another bait that makes your customer want to do business with you.
Find a unique selling proposition relevant to the product or service you are rendering and stick to it. It could be integrity, speed, affordability, quality, etc. Maybe I should tell you this.
“The reason why you are still struggling to make sales in that business is not demonic, it’s because you’ve not discovered the secret of making sales.”
A few months ago, I started learning “COPYWRITING”. Prior to this time, I thought I know much about making sales. But to my surprise, I was doing things the wrong way. My strategies were greatly erroneous. This skill (Copywriting) opened my eyes to real sales strategy I’d have never pondered about.
In this post, I will uncover five powerful sales strategy copywriting taught me.

#Strategy 3: Create An Irresistible Offer
“Make your offer so simple that your customers will look so foolish to turn it down”. – Dan Lok In copywriting, there’s a principle called the 80/20 principle.
How does this work? Quite really simple,
Spend 80% of your time adding value and 20% selling.
After you’ve created a unique selling proposition, the next you want to do is creating a compelling offer for your product. This bait will intrigue your customer’s attention. Do this while lolling on the sofa watching them come to attack your products or services.
More so, this will set you above your competitors
For instance, if you sell diapers, you could say “Buy Ten Packs And Get One Free”
#Strategy 4: Add Scarcity
After you’ve created an irresistible offer, what do you now need?
The truth is most customers are now lazy to take. Someone will probably say, “I don’t need this thing now, why should I go for it?”. These thoughts will cause them to hold back from buying.
So which spice will you add to make them take action? Add scarcity. I mean a sense of urgency
Following the example above, you could say “Buy Ten Packs And Get One Free. Offer Ends 8 pm Today”.
Once they observe you added a deadline, they won’t want to throw that amazing opportunity in
the ditch. 80% of them will most likely run to you for help.
Conclusively, selling requires not much energy but much of strategy. Try these four tips in your sales strategy and see the enchantment that follows. Which of these tips would you try first?
