Nigerian comedians are known to talk about the real situation of things in Nigeria through their comedy. During the #EndSARS campaign that made the Nigerian youths to say no to police brutality in Nigeria that led to the eventual dissolution of the former police unit called the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS). Comedian Debo Adedayo popularly known as Mr Macaroni supported the #EndSARS campaign. The Ogun state comedian and celebrity used his social media to encourage Nigerians and the Nigerian government to dissolve the Special Anti-Robbery Squad in Nigeria. Mr Macaroni was active during the time Nigerians protested against the brutality of SARS in Lagos as seen on social media and newspapers.
