Juventus clear decks to bring Pogba back from Man Utd

Juventus have been clearing the decks in anticipation of re-signing Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba this summer.

Tuttosport says Juventus are determined to land a reunion with the player they sold to United for £89million back in 2016.

Pogba has played a bit-part role at United this season due to troubles with injury but remains one of the most sought-after midfielders in Europe.

United’s £68million acquisition of Bruno Fernandes in January is also said to have boosted Juventus’ hopes that Pogba will be allowed to depart at the end of the season.

Mario Mandzukic and Emre Can have both departed to free up space on Juventus’ wage bill, and that is said to pave the way to allow a blockbuster move for Pogba.

Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola insisted last week that Juventus fans should dream of re-signing the Frenchman.

“Juve fans should dream, because if you do not dream, then you are dead,” he said.

“I do not work in dreams, but in the real world, so I have to make the right choices for my clients. This is not the right moment to say what Paul’s future will be.”
