Meghan is accused of breaching Wimbledon etiquette by wearing jeans in a members-only area during her visit to watch Serena Williams
Meghan has been accused of falling foul of Wimbledon etiquette on her surprise visit to cheer on Serena Williams last week – because she was wearing jeans in a members’ only area.
Palace officials claimed the Duchess of Sussex, 37, attended the All England Club in a ‘private capacity’ last Thursday, telling fans not to take photos of her.
She sat in an exclusive area of the crowd on Court 1 to watch her friend Serena, 37, beat Kaja Juvan in the second round.
But club sources say she was a ‘nightmare’ to accommodate, with her casual attire and ‘self-regarding paranoia’.
An official tasked with organising the event told The Times: ‘It was a nightmare, she was a nightmare.’
An England Club insider told the newspaper she was not supposed to be wearing jeans for the seats she had, saying: ‘She wanted to come incognito but there were problems.
‘They couldn’t invite her into the royal box because she was wearing jeans but that didn’t really matter because all she wanted to do was come and watch Serena.’
The source claimed it was fortunate Andy Murray was playing on the same court after Serena, as she would not have been allowed in the Royal Box on Centre Court with jeans on- despite being a member of the royal family.

Lagos monarch, the King of Ikate Elegushi Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi (Kusenla III), on Tuesday 10th November took to social media to gush over his wife, Olori Sekinat on her birthday.

The Kaduna State Government has declared three days mourning for the late Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Shehu Idris.
The Special Adviser to the Governor Nasir el-Rufai on Media and Communication, Mr Muyiwa Adekeye, announced this in a statement this morning.
Adekeye said public offices would open on September 21 and September 22 but “there will be a public holiday on September 23 to honour his memory’’.
The statement was titled, “Kaduna declares three days mourning for late Emir of Zazzau”.
It read, “The Kaduna State Government has declared three days of mourning for the late Emir of Zazzau, HH Alh. Shehu Idris. Public offices will open as normal on 21 and 22 September 2020.
“There will be a public holiday on 23 September to honour his memory.
“Flags will fly at half-mast during the mourning period.”
The emir died at the 44 Army Reference Hospital, Kaduna on Sunday at the age of 84.
Does that name sound familiar? Well, this is rather strange and it is rather un-Nigerian, since children of the rich in Nigeria love to show off. Mariya Dangote on the other hand does not seem to be the show-off type.

Mariya Dangote’s marital life is not known as reports suggest that although one of her sisters, Halima Dangote is married, she is not married since she moved to Nigeria after completing her education.
Just like her sisters, Mariya hardly posts pictures on social media networks like Facebook or Twitter.
She is currently one of the top managers in Dangote Group, a multi conglomerate owned by her renowned billionaire father, Alhaji Aliko Dangote. One thing you should note about the Dangote’s daughters is that they keep a low profile.
Her younger sister, Fatima got married to one Jamil Abubakar, who is the son to former IGP of Police in a star-studded wedding.
